Admissions & Enrollment

We recommend interested applicants to visit the academy first to make personal inquiries with an Admissions Officer as well as to be able to view our facilities.

Applicants for the Two Year Culinary Arts Chefs Programme, may be required to take an assessment examination and an interview with the Dean, prior to enrolment.


Admission Requirements

All applicants must be at least 18 years old otherwise parental consent is required and either of the following:

  • High school graduate with excellent grades especially in English and Math Subjects - documentation required
  • Associate graduate from any college or at least two years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry - documentation required
  • A completed enrolment application form
  • A copy of the Transcript of Records and Two (2) Copies each of Passport Size and 1x1 Photo are required upon enrolment

Requirements upon Enrolment

  • A completed enrolment application form
  • 40% of course fees as initial payment plus deposit
  • A copy of the Transcript of Records or High School Diploma
  • Two (2) Current Copies each of Passport Size and 1x1 Photo are required upon enrolment
  • One (1) Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Medical Certificate, completed and signed by a Doctor from ICAAC accredited Medical Centre – Compulsory requirement for students of the Two Year Culinary Arts Chefs Programme
  • Php1,400 for one (1) complete set of Chefs Uniform (jacket, trousers, apron, oven cloth, chefs hat) – for semestral programme students

Upon acceptance, students are required to obtain the following, which are not included in the course prices:

  • A set of professional chefs knives
  • A set of complete restaurant uniform and waiters corkscrew - Compulsory requirement for students of the Two Year Culinary Arts Chefs Programme

You may submit your completed admissions application materials with a non-refundable reservation payment up to one year prior to the enrolment season. Early completed applications will receive priority consideration for that season intake. If your preferred season intake is not available, you will be placed in the other entry dates.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Please note that the ICAAC does not return any materials sent as part of the admission review process. Do not submit original diplomas and certificates, as they will not be returned.

All applicants must demonstrate their proficiency in the English language at a level adequate for success in taking the Written International City & Guilds of London Examinations.

Please note that you must be a high school graduate or have received an equivalency diploma to enrol for the ICAAC Two Year Culinary Arts Chefs Programme.

If you wish to apply for the International Internship Programme of the ICAAC Two Year Culinary Arts Chefs Programme, you must be a second year student and graduate at an age of no more than 33 years old
